Vericare began as a dedicated reference lab specializing exclusively in oral fluid toxicology confirmation testing for other labs. As the toxicology market slowly shifts towards more oral fluid testing, many labs don’t have the volume to warrant running them in-house.
From the start, we focused on efficiency and precision — developing automation systems that eliminate the most repetitive, error-prone manual processes. By combining this automation with our patented magnetic bead–based solid-phase extraction technology, we achieved an unprecedented level of speed, consistency, and accuracy in oral fluid toxicology testing that allows us to be very competitive on pricing.

As our reputation for high-quality results and competitive pricing grew, some of our partners began asking if we could also handle their overflow of urine toxicology samples. What we discovered was eye-opening: in many cases, we could perform the testing at a lower cost than our clients could achieve in-house.
This realization expanded our mission. Today, Vericare helps labs optimize their operations—whether by managing overflow, serving as a trusted reference lab, or even running 30% of their toxicology volume to help meet compliance and protect margins.
